Real Techniques Blush Brush

This brush is the softest thing i have ever touched, my cats' fur looks like sandpaper compared to it. Just buy it.
This review could easily end here, the pleasure you get by passing it on your face is worth the price, but there's so many more qualities then i'll be serious and i'll describe it properly.

It's actually created to apply the blush, you can get it by its name, and it didn't convince me that much at the beginning, it's kinda big for a blush brush but you get used to it.
Just put a small amount of product on the top and you'll get such a natural and blended effect, both with the blush and the bronzer. It's totally impossible to make stains, but, sure shot, if you use it on the pan as you were shoveling snow then you won't avoid that 80's style effect.

I set addirittura 20,99 sterline contro 17,99 dollari.

I think it's great for powder as well and that's one more evidence that Real Techniques brushes are actually multitasking, this is just one among the many reasons why i prefer them to others.
This time i didn't buy it on the usual UK sites and i got it from iHerb from US, despite the fact i'm usually afraid of custom fees or losses. Prices are actually lower, e.g. the Blush Brush was £9.99 on Love-Makeup, on iHerb i paid $8.99 for it. The sets are even cheaper, £20.99 vs. $17.99. Shipping rates vary depending on the weight, i purchased two brushes and i paid $6.00 ca. instead of £9.00.
I had no trouble at all with customs and i got the parcel in ten days, with some well-appreciated samples.
Adding my coupon code VEZ799, you'll get a $5.00 discount when you checkout. Basically you'll get a Real Techniques brush paying it like an Essence one, just tell me, is this the REAL deal? The answer is YES.

Yes, just one more kind of column or whatever you want to call it, but trust me, it actually makes sense. I realized that my "Friday faces" always display some kinda heavy make-up, i find them normal but i know someone might think they're drag-queen-alike.
I'm not a colour nazi then i decided to open this "thing" where i'm going to show you some softer looks. I'll try to be as less trivial as i can, but i can't assure you i'll be able to do it.

Gues which lipstick i chose at last. Come on, it's so easy!

Murad Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser

If you've been roaming around here for a while you'll know that i'm really obsessed with skincare, since i was a happy-go-lucky teenager i'm chasing the perfect-skin dream, or at least with no rednesses and blemishes which make me feel uncomfortable.
Today i'm writing you about one of the Murad products which is radically turning it around, the Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser for combination skin.

Murad Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser* 150ml  €30 circa/£25

It looks liquid, but, once squeezed, it turns into a soft foam. It's so comfortable on my face and i haven't had any problem with my hyper-sensitive skin.

Despite the fact that it's so gentle, it cleanses deeply and it removes the few foundation i'm putting on in the latest months.
At the beginning i wasn't very impressed, but i noticed its effects with the passing of time: the pores are getting smaller, my skin looks a lot tighter and more glowy and the blemishes (that are consistently decreasing) less sore.
I was shocked by the fact that these good effects are long lasting and i'll tell you, despite the hot wheather, my T-zone gets shiny in a longer time. Useless to say, if i walk under the sun for an hour i won't surely be fresh like a rose, but the results are great in non-extreme conditions.
The price is high and i know it, but if you consider the quality, the quantity in it and the small amount you need to wash your face then you know it's worth it.
Later on i'll write you about some more Murad products and i'll show you how my skin was before using them and how it looks now, but i guess you can notice how it improved looking at all the FOTD's.

TAG: Curiosone

Ah! Molto Rumore per Nulla, me lo stavo quasi dimenticando! Lo riguarderei ogni giorno, basta come motivazione?

I usually wash my hair every three/four days with Cynthia Sylvia Stout Lush shampoo which i adore despite its smell.
As a conditioner, lately i've been using Veganese, still by Lush, not the best one ever, but it's a decent moisturiser and leaves your hair soft and lightweight.
I tend not to use the hair-dryer as much as i can. After dabbing my hair lightly i use a small amount of Moroccanoil on the tips and i leave them to dry, i often gather them in a braid in order to get a natural wavey effect and avoid frizzyness.
That's all for my basic routine, now i'm talking you about surplus treatments.

When i have to wash my hair more often, i do the cowash with a conditioner to avoid an excessive aggression to them.
If i just want to "refresh" the roots and add volume without washing, i use the Batist dry shampoo.

I apply the coconut oil by The Body Shop on the dry tips and to handle flyhair.
But now the real thing is homemade linseed oil, suggested by a dear friend of mine. You have to put 2 or 3 tbsp of seeds in boiling water for 15 minutes, then you have to strain that jelly-ish stuff from the seeds and, once cooled, you have to apply it as a hair mask, right before washing them, it brings your hair back from the dead.

What about you? Have you found you right haircare routine? Still searching for it?

    TAG: Most Worn Summer Things

Stealing tags to english b-vloggers is now one of my favourite hobbies. This one consists of writing down the thing that's been used/worn the most this summer, one for each category, nothing new under the sun, just take it as a summary of latest-months-favourites. Needless to say, you're all tagged.

Most Worn - Smalto: Logicamente non potevo sceglierne solo uno.

Most Worn Nail Polish: Obviously, i coudn't choose just one. The Pupa n. 508 has been a constant presence on my toes. On my fingers, the most used has been Rage by Orly, as you know my obsession for rose gold.

Most Worn Scent: I think CK One Summer IS actually summer, in a bottle, but don't ask me to describe its scents cause i'm not able at all.

Most Worn Hair Product: I've been using my Moroccanoil samples since march. I think it's kinda overrated as a hair treatment considering all the shit it contains, but when it will be finished, i'm almost sure i'll b uy the full size for one single dumb reason: i go crazy for its smell, every once in a while i need to open it and smell it. I'm on the verge of sickness.

Most Worn Bag: My beloved Zara bag with rose gold (would you bet?) details. It's not huge but i can fill it with a lot of stuff and the colour is good for winter as well. It's already wearing out and that makes me hate this brand even more, some prices need more quality!

Most Worn - Scarpe : Non pervenute, mi vergogno a mostrarvi i miei rovinatissimi sandali.

Most Worn Shoes: Not specified, i'm kinda ashamed of my worn out sandals. This year too i had to give up the quest for the perfect faux leather sandals. Dear shoe industries, it's 2012, please accept the fact that there is people refusing to wear animals on their feet!

Most Worn Accessory: Sure shot, the sooooo cheap Casio watch i found on ebay, best summer purchase.

Asos, ovviamente.

Most Worn Clothing Item: It looks like a pudding on picture but it's one of the most comfortable shirts i've ever worn. It's fresh, it's not black (OMFG!) and it's 100% cotton. Asos, of course.

Most Worn - Fondotinta: Cosa ve lo dico a fare, il MAC Face and Body. Ve ne ho parlato qui.

Most Worn Foundation: Needless to say, Face and Body by MAC. I wrote about it here.

Most Worn - Blush/Bronzer: Anche qua mi tocca ripetermi: Honey Bronze di The Body Shop e MAC Melba. Non riesco a separarmi da questa accoppiata.

Most Worn Blush/Bronzer: I have to repeat myself: Honey Bronze by The Body Shop and Melba by MAC. I'm sticking to this couple.

Most Worn Lip Product: Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti shade, as it's easy to apply and has a great texture, a great colour and a great name.

Most Worn - Mascara: L'Essence I Love Extreme probabilmente sarà un "most worn" di tutto l'anno.

Most Worn Mascara: The I Love Extreme by Essence will probably win the "most worn" prize for the whole year.

Most Worn - Ombretto: Inglot pearl 406.

Most Worn Eyeshadow: The Inglot pearl 406. It's not as common as it might look like and i think it's great with tan.

    July Favourites!

Last month i discovered some major-small new things about the cream products i always underrated in favour to powders. Better late than never!

    Illamasqua Cream Blusher Devour:
I adore this blush but i had to expect it.
The colour is unusual, it fits with my tan
and it will surely fit better with my winter paleness.
The texture is totally different from any cream blush
i ever tried until today, it's almost watery,
    which makes it so light.
It lasts very well and and the pigmentation is unbelievable,
but you have to watch out when you apply it:
just a little bit too much and you'll look like Cyndi Lauper in her golden age.

    Real Techniques Expert Face Brush:
    I should mention it
in every favourite-post from here to eternity,
    but i don't like repetitions.
You'll find the review (more than a review it sounds like an Ode to the Brush) here.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Lovesick: Per me questo balsamo-tinta è stata una scoperta. Raramente metto altro sulle labbra ultimamente, review qui.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Lovesick:
This balm-stain was such big news to me.
I rarely put anything else on my lips lately, read the review.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow 22E:
When you enter the creamy eyeshadow tunnel,
then it's hard to get out and it's even harder if you add
the pencil's convenience (i find it more hygienic)
    and its incredibly long lasting.
I didn't go crazy for the new Aqua Shadow colour range,
but this bronze does the whole make-up on its own,
you'll see it at work on a FOTD.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Permanent Taupe: Un applauso a me, ho scoperto l'acqua calda!

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Permanent Taupe:
Big ups to me reinventing the wheel.
I don't think you need the gazillionth person who says
this eyeshadow would last a week, but i'm telling you anyway.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream n.13: Dato che la fissa del mese sono gli ombretti cremosi non potevo non citare il mio Aqua Cream prediletto, il classico colore da mettere al volo mentre si sta uscendo di casa.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream n.13:
As my "thing of the month" are cream eyeshadows
i couldn't mention my favourite Aqua Cream,
your easy-to-put-on colour when you're rushing out.

    Sephora Exfoliating Face Disc:
Since i've been using this my skin feels much cleaner,
i don't know if it's just a placebo effect or what else.
I especially like to use it when i wake up with a cleanser,
i get a delicate face massage, reactivates the circulation
and my skin looks thicker and brighter.

A few months ago Revlon put out these coloured lip balms that are supposed to be long lasting, despite me being extremely curious i thought they would reach Italy in the year 2064, but i was wrong.
I chose the n. 020 Lovesick, such a bright fuchsia, buildable at your will in order to get more or less intensity.

Right when applied it feels like a balm, glossy, smooth and moisturizing, after a few hours this effect fades but the stain is still here and it lasts until i remove it, let's say the colour is not as bright as it was in the morning, but still i think it's unbelievable. I took this picture at about 11 pm, when i applied it, it was 4 pm and then i chatted all day long, i drank litres of water, i had dinner and i washed my face.

Lately i haven't had dry lips then i had no problems at all, but i'm afraid someone might not find it very comfortable, but still nothing compared to all those commercialised stains which i have already tried.
Just to be hyper-critical, i'd say the colour range is not that wide, too many pink tones, too close to each other
but no red or coral, i think we don't have the whole assortment down here.
Summing up, i am pleasantly impressed by this product, i thought "stain" and "balm" were not supposed to be in the same sentence, but now i know it's possible.
